Castle Wedding Rome

Castle Wedding Rome

Castle Wedding Rome was the dream come true for the wonderful Scottish couple, Gebrielle and Adam.

They not only had the wedding reception, but also asked Sira’s agency to organize three days of events: a pizza party, wedding day, and a final pool party.

Naturally, my Studio was also delighted to oversee this fun and wonderful multi-day event.

All this was possible at Castello della Castelluccia, just outside Rome, which also offers accommodations for most of the guests and suites for the preparations of the newlyweds, their families, bridesmaids, and bestmen.

Castle Wedding Rome

A location near Rome is a very common request, not only for its convenient connections to the international airport, but also for couples who want a religious ceremony, our capital is seen as a truly important destination.

The preparations began in the bridal suites with all the bridesmaids wearing matching dresses and the best men wearing kilts in the groom’s family colors.

Our newlyweds had the pleasure of having their uncle, who also spoke Italian, celebrate the sacrament of marriage!

Church of Santa Francesca Romana

The Church of Santa Francesca Romana chosen is one of the most beautiful, located opposite the Colosseum. Upon entering, you’re captivated by its beauty: the coffered wooden ceiling is decorated and painted in blue, red, and gold.

Some of the Cosmatesque-style floors are original; in the space between the two staircases stands the saint’s confession, designed by Bernini.

From the photos, you can see that particular attention was given to the floral arrangements, echoing her colors.

Colosseum as a backdrop

The bride and groom had specific requests, such as their car having to be a vintage model, Excalibur Phaeton Series III, and the shots with the Colosseum as a backdrop were iconic.

Something about the golden hour on the cypress-lined avenue just before entering and starting the reception, which was a succession of strong emotions and lots of fun.

Cake Cutting with a Show

In the castle garden, a circle serves as a natural dance floor. This is where the cake cutting takes place, followed immediately by the surprise fireworks display!

The guests were thrilled, and it was one of the best ways to get the party started, first with the live band and then with the DJ set.

When we met this wonderful couple and their families, we were curious to know why they, who own the most beautiful castles in the world, chose to get married in a castle in Italy.

The answer was our climate and food. They had a fantastic day, actually three days.

The gastronomic offerings were truly varied. They and their guests will carry this dolce vita experience in their hearts forever, and so will we!
